Webmontag Aachen/Euregio: XFN, Social Graph und Data Portability

One topic which turned out to be the topic of the evening was Social Graph and Data Portability. First Martin Jansen explained what XFN and the Social Graph API by Google is all about and then I gave a small introduction into Data Portability. What we both didn’t think of was the amount of discussion it generated. Martin experienced this first when people were arguing about the fact that they don’t want to have their social graph exposed and it was quite lively. We continued the discussion then after my Data Portability talk and I will do a separate (english) blog post about the main discussion points. I think many important points have been raised. If you understand german you might also want to watch the two videos.
